The Pendekar Mama Seated Jurus
Here the student learns the correct use of the arms and hands, how to make a fist and how to hit-parry. The Jurus develop speed, timing, the use of the indirect vision while facing incoming blows and the "heart" not to run or shy away from an opponent in your space. Additionally they allow a standing version.
Sera Depok
This is the glue that holds it all together. These are not elementary standing static Jurus. They open the mind of the practitioner, they teach space, off timing, off balancing, redirection and misdirection. The energy power of the body is developed. The legs are strengthened and the low, medium and high stance is utilized. Once understood they compose 15 equations that the practitioner has as a "play book" to bait the opponent whenever they want. They are disguised with the Bunga and explode in and out of it. The better you get the more these open up to you. All of the animals appear and disappear in these Jurus but the inner energy is of the Snake-Naga and the main outward manifestation is the Monkey which of course mimics all of animals.
The Animals
Here the practitioner learns how each animal can be broken down and utilized for various ranges and styles of fighting. One can see how they are connected and part of the Sera Depok as you recognize them from the Jurus and they become a veil, a disguise that you move in and out of preparing at all times to use a Sera Depok Equation learned from the Jurus to end a fight. Whether it works or not it quickly vanishes into an animal mannerism. This is the great advantage of the Mas Jud animistic influence over more mainstream Cimande and other styles where the animal mannersims have been removed or watered down. These other styles will never be as combatively effective and will look stiff and robotic in comparison. The Naga develops from the synthesis of all the animals, the seated Juru blows and the Sera Depok Jurus.

Here in lies the Golden elixir. It is the key to how we move and this special manner of movement congeals it all into something found nowhere else.

The ranking system is simple, straightforward and uncomplicated. You will pass or fail the exams solely on true knowledge and the ability to perform the system. You will be more than worthy of your rank and your base of knowledge and skill will prove it.

You get to choose you workout partner, i.e. friends, family members, relatives or you can work out alone if that is what you want. You choose since you are the boss. Inviting others to train with you helps you to work on distance and timing in a non-threatening ego less way.

You can get your whole family involved and make it a family bonding time. Families can use the same DVD's and the only fee is in the testing. All members of the family have access to the closed door forum.

You have at your disposal our online closed door forum of classmates to talk and discuss all aspects of your training. All of the forum postings and emails are read by the Grandmaster and can be answered by him when needed. In essence this is like being a private student of the head of the system.
- Every lesson comes directly from the originator and Grandmaster of the system who has been awarded the title Pendekar, the highest award possible in Pencak Silat and not once but twice by two different Indonesian Authorities. Pendekar Sanders has been inducted in 2 Hall of Fames on two continents and awarded a PHD/MA.D.SC from the University of Asian Martial art Studies with an accepted thesis on the Real Pencak Silat of Mas Jud. Pendekar Sanders was awarded The Grandmaster of the Year 2008 by the USA Hall of Fame. He is also the author of five reference books on the art.
Rank In General
Rank in Pukulan Cimande Pusaka is valid only if it is directly certified and sanctioned by Pendekar Sanders. If you have rank in other system or it was given by someone else you are more than welcome to join the Distance Program, learn any material that you might not have been taught and then demonstrate your skills by testing to upgrade your former rank.
This means everyone is a student of Pendekar Sanders and he can talk freely to anyone, no politics and no secrecy. Students in the distance program talk directly to him via the forum.
There are no promotions for those who don’t deserve it and rank will mean something.
The material can be purchased in any order that you like and you can buy 1 dvd at a time or as many as you like at a time.
If you are in a study group and learning from someone else you must have your own paid copy of the required materials. By doing this we can make sure that you are a learning the material directly from Pendekar Sanders with no alterations. The exception to this rule would be for families that live and train together. In that case one set of required material is fine.

Testing Fee For Each Level
Each test for each component of each level is to be sent to Pendekar Sanders with a $50 testing fee. If the student fails the first time, they have a two week window to submit another test for that same material at no additional charge. If they also fail the second time, then a testing fee will be again needed when submiting that same material again. Please test for each component in each level on a separate film.
Murid
Murid in Indonesian means "pupil, student; disciple, follower of" and you are this title when you train at a school or upon registration in the distance program. This rank is obtained with your paid registration.

Upon completing Murid Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 you will be awarded a certificate and the rank for Guru Baharu Emas.
Guru Baharu Emas
Guru Baharu means literally "teacher new" but in Indonesian the modifier goes second unlike in English so Guru Baharu is "new teacher". Emas literally is "gold" but in this context it is meant as "golden new teacher" since your talents and your abilities will shine and they are rare and precious as gold. This rank is acheieved after passing all of the Murid levels.
Guru Baharu Emas Level 1
In this first phase footwork is important. Review footwork in terms of Sera Depok focusing on evasiveness and agility.
Required DVD
Guru Baharu Emas Level 2
These are the fighting applications of the basic animals. No grades are given in individual animals. To obtain level two (Guru Baharu Emas Dua ) you must complete all four, be able to explain the concept, the element, the range of each animal and demonstrate the blows and moves of each (see the animal syllabus dvd) and move around using the mannerisms.
