Brothers and respected members of the society that I cherish, Assalammualaikum Wr. Wb.

As the director and Master-instructor of Pencak Silat Ekajaya Pusaka Cimande, I convey thanks for the presences of respected Cimande Elders, the "RT" chief and the district leader of the youths:

Our purpose for inviting you here, among other things, is to establish (to our audience) that I am a direct descendent of Abah Gasol (Bagasol), son of Mbah Muharin, son of Mbah Lasiun.

Mbah Lasiun was a respected member of Cimande-it was he who invited Mbah Kahir living in Tanah Sareal (Bogor city) to Cimande, where he later resided (for a time) at Nanggoh village.

Mbah Kahir was commissioned to train and instruct 3 (chosen) persons of Cimande:

Mbah Muharin
Mbah Ace (pronun: Ah-chey)
Mbah Ratmah

This is briefly, the history of my family. So I am a descendent, 4th generation from Mbah Lasiun.

I feel disappointed that there are those who declare that in Cimande there is no one called by the name of Mama Sukarma. I invite whosoever, whenever and wherever to discuss this matter (with me).

Personally, to my bitter disappointment, there seems to be someone who declares that Cimande (Pencak) Silat is (only) especially for Muslims and that the Silat has no magickal/esoteric aspect-this simply implies that the person (making such a statement) has no knowledge/power (ignorant) in this regard.

I, hereby, take this opportunity to state that William Sanders is a student of mine who has trained with us for 3 years and that we have given him the assignment of promoting (our) Pencak-Silat globally, especially in the USA.

This certificate we issued as a proof of the graduation of William Sanders. We now defer to the elders and leaders of Cimande.
